How To Win An Argument (in 8 steps)

People are different, limited creatures. We can study our entire lives and still only barely comprehend a tiny fraction of what can be known and understood.

Consider this: Some people of one denomination of Islam kill some people of another denomination of Islam. Some people of one race of humans kill some people of another race of humans. Some people who happen to live in one country kill some people who happen to live in another country. Some people have even started whole wars based on different economic models.

There are literally thousands of sub denominations of Christianity in this country and, of those, their members don't agree with everything their church believes. So, if what is often considered absolute truth can vary depending on the limited scope of every individual, naturally every issue has various sides no one, two or even a million people can see all of.

So, whether it's a trivial disagreement or a serious argument, accept that none of us is a perfect, all-knowing being. It's okay to be wrong. Given our limits, if we tackled every subject we'd be wrong most of the time. Limitations are why we need each other, not an excuse to try to prove a point. Cooperation combines limited knowledge and brings us closer to understanding what we can not on our own. We are on this world together.

Respect everyone's imperfections, including yourself. Find peace in the acceptance of diversity. And remember...any part of this could be wrong, because I don't know everything either.
