Let Go of Guilt

You've made mistakes and have regrets. So, you're not perfect. None of us are. But do you hold onto guilt and beat yourself up over the past? If so, ask yourself this:

Did you learn from the mistakes? Will you be better prepared not to make the same mistakes? If you hurt someone, did you apologize and ask for forgiveness, even if you didn't receive it?

If you answered yes to any of this, it's time to let go. See, the purpose of guilt is to make you feel bad so you won't do that again. It's fulfilled its purpose, so now forgive yourself. You aren't perfect, so you literally need to make mistakes to learn and grow.

And, if you can't forgive yourself, the One who created you forgives you. Yeah, it's time to let go and be at peace.
